Pictured is the famous philanthropist Chief Aloysius Nnamdi Ikegwounwu
(Ebubechukwuuzo Ozubulu) who single-highhandedly built the St Philip’s
Catholic Church, Amakwa Ozubulu in Anambra state where gunmen opened
fire and killed several worshipers earlier today. The attack was a
spillover of a drug related feud between two Ozubulu brothers resident
in South Africa.
The main matter was said to be between Chief Aloy Ikegwuonu and another Ozubulu man popularly known as Obrocho.
Latest
information indicated that the gunmen were hunting for the South
African based millionaire (Chief Aloysius Nnamdi Ikegwuonu) popularly
known as Bishop who is rumored to be a drug baron, as they traced him to
his house but were told he had gone to church where he was meant to
hold a thanksgiving service.
It was gathered that on getting to
the church, he had left and out of anger, probably, they rained bullets
on worshippers believing he was there.7
According to reports, the battle had claimed some lives already over there in South Africa.
